For Windows Users
Required to sign in with iCloud to continue, if you are concerned about security issues you can create a secondary iCloud to log in
1. AltServer
Download and install AltServer here: https://altstore.io/
2. iTunes
Download and install the latest version of iTunes here: https://support.apple.com/downloads/itunes
3. iCloud
Download and install the latest version of iCloud here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204283
* Note: Absolutely do not download iTunes and iCloud on the Microsoft Store (if installed, must be completely uninstalled)
4. After installing AltServer
- Connect iPhone to PC (always connect until completed)
- Windows -> AltServer -> Run as administrator (diamond icon appears in the lower right corner of the taskbar)
- Select AltServer icon -> Install AltStore -> Select iPhone -> Login iCloud -> Wait until PC displays the completion notification
- Go to Settings -> General Settings -> Manage VPN & Devices -> Select Developer Apps -> Trust
- Go to AltStore on iPhone screen -> Settings -> Login iCloud used to install AltStore (must use the same iCloud)
5. Download the .ipa file
Some sites I got the file from:
- https://iosninja.io/ipa-library
6. Sign the app
- You should download the .ipa file using your iPhone; you can download it on your PC and copy it to your iPhone
- Go to the AltStore app -> My apps -> Select the "+" icon and select the downloaded .ipa file -> wait a few minutes
- Within 7 days, you must select "Refresh All" to renew. After 7 days without renewing, you will have to reinstall AltStore
- There are 2 ways to Refresh All app:
+ Connect iPhone to PC, run AltServer with "Run as administrator", then Refresh All
+ Refresh All via wifi: enable the "Sync iPhone via wifi" feature in iTunes, connect the PC and iPhone to the same wifi network, then Refresh All app
* Note:
+ Always connect the iPhone to the PC during the Sign app process
+ Only install up to 2 .ipa files
The line "7 App IDs Remaining" is the number of app ids that can be installed, even if it is one .ipa file, but signed multiple times, it is still considered a different id
For example:
7 ids -> 7 other ipa files can be installed
5 ids -> 5 other ipa files can be installed
